NO, David Beckham has not agreed to sign yet with Paris Saint-Germain.
In fact, he is keeping the French outfit to wait until the end of this year before deciding whether to join them or not.
In Beckham’s two options surrounding his next move, it will be either PSG or staying with the LA Galaxy, although the veteran midfielder is also being eyed by teams from Italy and Brazil.
At this juncture, a return to the Premier League is not also in Beckham’s mind despite interest coming from Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers.
There were reports that the 36-year-old midfielder already gave nod to inking a deal with PSG but they proved to be premature as Beckham and his camp are still discussing the next step with his family and business partner Simon Fuller regarding his career.
A relocation to Paris is seen to pave the way for his wife Victoria and their four children going with him.
As of now, Beckham’s decision remains vital for his next move.
Beckham is currently with the LA Galaxy who are on their Asia-Pacific tour. The Galaxy recently crowned themselves champions in the US Major League Soccer after beating the Houston Dynamo 1-0.
The squad arrived in Indonesia last Saturday and will play the national squad on Wednesday before flying to the Philippines to tackle the national football team (the Azkals) in Manila on Dec. 3.
Prior to their tour, Beckham was reported to have been offered an 18-month contract by the PSG worth 11.6 million pounds as PSG sporting director Leonardo and Qatar Sports Investments President Nasser Al-Khelaifi pushed for their interest on the England icon.
Al-Khelaifi has personally picked Beckham to form the core of his plan to transform the Ligue 1 leaders into a superpower in football.
Beckham played alongside Leonardo when he was still at AC Milan, prompting the latter to be linked up anew with the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star.
