Manchester United charge on in the FA Cup competition as they head to Anfield to face the waiting Liverpool.
Across all competitions, Liverpool have had a mediocre-borderline-embarrassing performance at home, with 6 draws in their last 9 matches. A way for them to rectify this would be to magnificently defeat one of England’s most powerful teams in front of thousands of supporters.
And coming off an explosive FA Cup 5-1 win against visiting Oldham Athletic, Liverpool should be ready to handle the big boys like United.
Not much motivation is needed for the Red Devils, however, whose overall form shows a lethal 8 wins and 2 losses in 10 matches. They also prepare for the match after a heart-soaring FA Cup win against fierce rivals Manchester City.
This match faces off two of the most successful clubs in FA Cup history. And for both teams, each one grappling for glory in the Premier League, this clash could either strengthen their hopes for the FA Cup title, or destroy them altogether.
Cry once more, Anfield!

Manchester United are looking every bit invincible again especially on the road.
The Red Devils dispatched Manchester City and Arsenal in their last 2 away fixtures and Liverpool are in a very good spot to be the third victims.
Even if it’s just the FA Cup on the line, United would play dead-serious because they want to bury the ghost of last year when they were booted out in the semis.
The Reds are still crying over their humiliation at the hands of Bolton Wanderers over the weekend at and they will continue to shed more tears at Anfield as they are set to be overran by United.
Red Devils to charge on

Not much argument here. Manchester United have a spectacular road performance, and this could be enough to give them what they need to hold back Liverpool.
The home squad will also be suffering from fatigue as they face top team Manchester City a mere two days before this match. Their lineup is as unforgiving as Manchester United will be at Anfield.
Another disadvantage is Liverpool’s unimpressive home form in the FA Cup: 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses in 5 matches. This against United’s 4 wins and 1 loss in 5 games? No chance, mates.
I admit a certain bias towards Liverpool (what can I say?). But even I would not be foolish enough to wager on a Reds win for this one. My fingers are crossed and my hopes are up, but I suspect the challenge, as well as the competition, might be too big for the Reds.
Perhaps next time, Liverpool.
Reds to beat the Devils

In an elimination match that pits two teams with great history against each other, it sure to be a classic.
A lot of controversy surrounds Liverpool and Manchester United as of late, and it only gives the match a completely exciting angle. I reckon that sparks will fly from the very first minute of the match down to the last moment before the referee blows the final whistle.
In their last 3 meetings, both teams have won one each while their latest fixture showed them drawing 1-1. Though the Reds do not have Luis Suarez, I firmly believe that the steam they have can help them past the Red Devils.
I believe in the underdogs. The Reds will win while adding another chapter in their rivalry.
