The hottest WAGs of European Football (Part 2)

Abigail Clancy-Crouch, Carly Zucker-Cole and Raica Oliveira enjoy lofty rankings as far as the wives and girlfriends of European football stars are concerned.

Their man-magnet appeal and distinct feminine qualities are unmistakably awesome. Let’s meet them in this second instalment of our WAGS segment.

 

ABIGAIL CLANCY-CROUCH

 

This British lingerie and catwalk model as well as television presenter makes Peter Crouch’s world go round.

Ranked 10^th in FHM magazine’s annual “100 Sexiest Women in the World’’ poll in 2010, Abigail was on the cover of UK Esquire magazine’ August 2011 issue.

There was no stopping this 5-foot-9 head-turner ever since she appeared on “Britain’s Next Top Model in 2006, modelling for various magazines and newspapers such as Arena, Triumph Bonneville Motorbike and Daily Mail to name a few.

Last year, she appeared in the Sports Illustrated magazine’s swimsuit edition because of her affiliation with Crouch. Her image wearing only a body paint to resemble she was wearing an England national team jersey was a big hit. She also appeared, along with other footballers’ wives and girlfriends from countries that have won the World Cup, in a 2010 campaign for Umbro sportswear.

Abigail’s latest escapade with Crouch while on vacation in the Italian island of Capri showed the 25-year-old beauty’s shapely curves as she cuddled their 5-month-old daughter, Sophia Ruby, during a stroll in the renowned summer resort.

By the pool afterwards, Abigail sported a skimpy blue-and-white bikini and dark sunglasses as she watched the 30-year-old, 6-foot-7 Crouch, unwinding before he moves to Stoke City from Tottenham Hotspur, teach their daughter how to swim.

Kibitzers though failed to get a long, absolute glimpse of Abigail’s whistle-bait figure as she did not strip completely, folding her dress down to her waist in between taking shot of her hubby and precious little child.

With her unbeatable form, it is utterly right to put Abigail at the topmost stratum of the world’s most famous wives and girlfriends.

 

 

CARLY ZUCKER-COLE

 

CARLY Zucker-Cole is one sweet woman who lassoed the heart of Liverpool and England player Joe Cole.

In German, Zucker means “sugar’’ and the comely mother of one does not miss a bit in living up to that tag anywhere she goes.

She and Joe are proud parents to 14-month-old daughter Ruby Tatiana whose mere smile reminds everyone of her mom’s own winsome beam.

Blessed with a glossy dark hair and prances around most of the time with her glistening manicured nails, the 26-year-old Carly burst to fame as a reality television contestant, fitness trainer and model gracing various fitness and fashion magazines.

In 2008, she joined the reality TV show “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here,’’ and gained wider attention despite becoming the third person to be voted out.

A year later, she became the face of a Lynx campaign, eliciting oohs and ahhs with her best Raquel Welch impersonation of a cavewoman.

When Carly married Cole on June 20, 2009, she wore a stunning in a 10,000-pound wedding dress by designer Oscar de la Renta.

Carly currently lives in Liverpool with Joe, 29, and Ruby Tatiana.

 

 

RAICA OLIVEIRA

 

Top Brazilian model Raica Oliveira was once described as Cristiano Ronaldo’s “gold-digging’’ girlfriend.

But the statuesque, brown-eyed bombshell simply laughed off the allegation.

Now commanding up to $50,000 for a fashion show, rose to fame in 1999 when she joined the Elite Model Look contest and bested 30,000 other girls. That same year, she was nicknamed “The Sensation’’ at the fall fashion shows in Paris and Milan.  She then moved to New York City where her modelling career further blossomed.

In 2001, Raica became one of Brazil’s most-searched models and among the country’s highest-paid ramp artists as well, earning $300,000 for her stints in more than 76 fashion shows in only two seasons.

Among the high-profile companies and publications she has worked with include Victoria’s Secret, Dolce and Gabbana, Vogue, Sports Illustrated, Dior, H&M, Elle, Marie Claire, Ann Taylor, Yves Saint Laurent and XOXO.

In 2010, she became the new face of lingerie brand Ultimo. While admitting she is happy to pose in her underwear in her latest campaign she has always been opposed to posing nude for any magazine or company.

An extreme vegetarian who revealed she doesn’t feel the urge to eat animal meat, the 27-year-old Raica who stands 5 feet, 11 inches is also an animal lover (she has 8 dogs) and also speaks Portuguese, English, French, Spanish and Italian. She has six tattoos and is planning to study philosophy when she retires.

She and Ronaldo were in a relationship from 2005 to 2006, even planning to get married and have children. But they eventually broke up.

Raica reportedly also dated British-born financier Nat Rothschild, scion of the prominent Rothschild family, in 2008. She was also linked to Ricardo Ortiz, nephew of stylist Lenny Niemeyer.

Since 2008, she has been working for the Portuguese Jornal record as a fashion reporter in Paris and New York.
